As the Premier League January Transfer Window has come to an end, here’s an update on what has happened.
Christian Eriksen has been sold to Inter Milan. The Danish midfielder has not been in usual form since December but could be great at one of these two clubs. In FIFA he was rated the 2nd best player in Tottenham and was in great form. PSG was willing to pay £25M for him, but he didn’t want to go. Inter Milan, on the other hand, were offering £8M, and Eriksen was willing to go, as he is unwilling to sign his Tottenham contract. Inter Milan have completed the signing of Christian Eriksen from Tottenham for a fee of around £16.9m, and Eriksen will leave Tottenham for Inter Milan.
There were rumours that the Arsenal striker Pierre-Aymerick Abaumeyang was being eyed by Barca for a loan, but the price has not yet been confirmed. However, in an interview Aabaumeyang dismissed these rumours and said, “They talk too much and it does my head in! I am the Arsenal captain. I love this club. I am committed to it and desperate to bring it back to the top, where it belongs.” It is likely he won’t go.
