Tim Cahill, an attacking midfielder is regarded as one of Australia’s most decorated players. Coming with experience from the Premier League, the Chinese Super League and the MLS (Major League Soccer), he has a lot to bring to the table. The recent announcement of him now continuing his football journey, in India, for the Jamshedpur FC is one that’s excited millions of people all around the world. He’s tipped to make a great impact in the Indian Super League, because of leadership skills and experience on and off of the pitch. Coming from a disappointing World Cup (that was also his last), he hopes to get back to his days of glory and hopefully ignite a much-needed fire in the team of Jamshedpur.
Cahill has also been attracted by the idea of training and developing the emerging talent all around the world. And for that specifically, he has developed and is heading the “Tim Cahill Academy in Australia”, since 2013. The Indian Super League kicked off on the 29th of September and will run until March. There will be three international breaks, which will give Cahill enough time for promotional activities and family duties.
