By Aaryan Gondal,

Apple like always continue to impress us with their innovative and flashy pieces of technology. This year was once again filled with lots of new products and services, and the Ascent is here to break it down for you.

Kicking the event off, we were introduced to two new entertainment services. Apple Arcade and Apple TV+. Apple Arcade as the name suggest is Apple’s inbuilt gaming community. They’ve partnered up with companies like Konami to showcase some fantastic high-quality games. Konami is best known for creating Pro Evolution Soccer PES for short, a game designed on football that directly competes with its opponent FIFA.

Apple TV+, on the other hand, has caught the attention of a lot of people. Their service has already announced new tv shows and movies that we should look forward to seeing in the near future. A few notable names being The Morning show starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Aniston. The other notable name being a show a drama web television series called See, starring Aquaman, oops I mean Jason Momoa.

Now that’s we’re done talking about the new entertainment services let’s talk about the new devices they’ve released. The Apple Watch has been renewed to the Series 5 and it’s most noticeable change comes in the form of the always-on a display. The 9.7 inch IPad has also been revamped to a new 10.2 inch IPad that comes updated with some better internals.

Last but not least is the iPhones. Apple’s area of innovation and controversy. This time around we’ve been introduced to 3 new models. the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

But to summarize the significant changes that been made, here’s what you need to know.

Cameras from all the three phones have seen a significant improvement in the image capturing quality both during the day and during the night, and image processing too.

In addition to this, Apple has also introduced a new feature called Slofies (Slow Motion Selfies). Now all the front-facing cameras will have the ability to capture selfie recorded videos in slow motion. Last but not least there’s a wide range of colours too now for all the three different options, but if I’m being honest I’d go for the red variant. Why? Well, it looks great and a certain percentage of the price you pay goes into raising awareness and funds to help eliminate HIV/AIDS.
