6th grade has been spectacular so far! Last semester we had a lot of fun and created a lot of memories and ended right with a FANTASTIC camp in Hampi! We’ve had plenty of fun in the first semester and were all hoping for more.

2020 arrived. We kicked right into an IDU. Our first ever IDU! Between I&S and Science. It was amazing! We started with 2 biome related formatives, and eventually went on to the summative – it was spectacular! We made a diorama, S.W.O.T. (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) Analysis Report and Slides. While making the diorama, we had a lot of fun; we played music, we gossiped (as always), we were experimenting and helping each other out. We also put in a lot of hard work. Everyone then presented and it went great!!! Personally, I think the teachers were very impressed with all of us.

All of a sudden, we all felt smart! We were introduced to Algebra, Ratio and Proportion and Probability in math. We did have many activities throughout the process and it was a lot of fun!

In Art, we made masterpiece paintings with the theme of; They all represent what goes inside our minds. Many things are common like; NETFLIX, HANGOUTS AND YOUTUBE! We had a blast listening to music, catching up on the tea and splashing paint all around!

In Music, we are practicing for the upcoming Annual Concert. We made our own songs and will be performing them LIVE at Annual Concert. We are also singing other songs like Story Of My Life and Just Like Fire.

In Drama, we’ve been planning our amazing skit and late night show. Which, also will be performed live at our Annual Concert. We’ve had endless numbers of classes putting together our play and late night show.

Last but not least, we had our rapid fire hindi/spanish summatives. It was crazy!!! Although, we did learn a lot. We learnt about the language(s) a lot and had fun while doing so. We played endless Kahoots, made PPT’s, made posters, made comics etc… It was great!

We’ve had a blast so far! It’s been an amazing experience. Thank you so much to all our teachers!
